The body panels on the car are made from the 1967 body style, with the 5 side vents, center console ebrake, reverse light and the signature 67 big block hood.
We have combined the best of the old with best of the new. The engine is a brand new 2009 Corvette LS3 motor with the manufacturers 5yr 50kmile warranty from GM. The transmission is a tremec 5 speed couple with 3:08 rear gears. That translates first gear to a 4:56 ratio for quick acceleration off of the line. The fifth gear is a true overdrive when you are traveling 70mph the motor is running at 2200 rpms. Highway mpg is an average 26mpg, unbelievable from an engine producing over 430hp’s.
The color of the car is a 1965 Nassau blue. The car is equipped with power steering, pwr windows, and a 7/8 inch bore wildwood master cylinder. The suspension and brakes are from the 1988-1996 Corvette. The chassis is a tubular chassis developed by us in conjunction with Gortech Engineering. The car weighs in at 2640lbs. the use of our frame provides for minimal body modifications. The wheels and tires are 17*8.5, we have not modified any of the wheel house’s, the only modification is in the package tray behind the seats. Check out the mould on main Restoration page. The gauges in the car are kept looking original but at the same time being converted to accept the info from the cars computer.
The a/c is hot rod air. The pulley system is from Street and Performance.
